Terms & Conditions

D&A Deluxe Dog Services will comply with all applicable animal welfare legislation and local laws governing animal care and welfare and business practices. Thereby reflecting honour upon the pet care services industry within their local community. Under the Animal Welfare Act (2006), Welfare of Animals Act (Northern Ireland) 2011 and the Animal Health and Welfare (Scotland) Act 2006, a person responsible for an animal, even on a temporary basis has a legal responsibility to meet the needs of the animal. For the purposes of these Acts, an animal’s needs shall be taken to include:

  1. its need for a suitable environment
  2.  its need for a suitable diet
  3.  its need to be able to exhibit normal behavior patterns

  4.  any need it has to be housed with, or apart from, other animals, and

  5.  its need to be protected from pain, suffering, injury and disease

 

Owner is to make full disclosure of any quality or characteristic problems which might make your dog not suitable for dog minding or walking ; including serious behavioral or health problems, including antisocial behavior & aggression. Failure on the part of the owner to disclose any matter which might render owner’s dog unsuitable for dog minding & walking  will be deemed a material omission amounting to a fundamental breach of our agreement. 

 

We make every effort to contact the owner in the event of an emergency. We recommend owners provide us with a contact number in the event of an emergency situation. However, we reserve the right to make decisions regarding your dog’s health provided it is at all times acting in the best interests of the dog and on the advice of a veterinary surgeon. Owner is responsible for payment of any veterinary fees incurred by D&A Deluxe Dog Services

 

All bookings are subject to approval by D&A Deluxe Dog Services & are not binding until such time an agreement of acceptance of services have been rendered.

There is a minimum of 1 hour & 30 minutes for services to be accepted, these must be  booked as sessions in conjunction with each other, for one owner per meeting. There is a limitation to the area D&A Deluxe Dog services can provide. Please be advised this is roughly 8 miles from our base in Egham, Surrey, UK & you as a customer must check in that the booking is agreeable. A booking is not automatically approved, by checking availability and attempting a booking online. The owner of D&A Deluxe Dog Services render their right to refuse or cancel a booking if deemed  unsuitable. However, we will always try to reach a compromise, if possible, to make the booking viable and in the unfortunate situation a booking can not be accepted, we will explain why and make a refund of fees already paid. 

Any bookings for services need to be made with at least 24 hours notice. 

In special circumstances, we can occasionally accept with less notice  - but, it is up to the discretion of the owner of D&A Deluxe Dog Services.

​The owner of D&A Deluxe Dog Services hold Public Liability Insurance

​

The client must accept full liability for any loss or damage caused by their dog whilst being minded or walked & be financially responsible for any damage to property whilst your dog is minded. D&A Deluxe Dog Services will not be held accountable for vet fees whilst your dog is in our care.

Payments are due at the start of each session.
